1. Do you have pull-through RV sites?

Yes, all our sites are pull-through, and most streets have one-way traffic. Please follow the directional arrows on the pavement.

2. Are there monthly (extended stay) rates available?

Yes, but no long-term lease periods are available beyond the month-to-month rate. After the first month, each additional month must be prepaid using the Resort's Firefly reservation system.

3. Do you offer discounted rates?

Yes, we offer a 10% discount for daily and weekly guests for Good Sam Club members, for CampersCard from Harvest Hosts, and for TACO's Texas Saver cards. Active military members and military veterans are also eligible for a 10% discount on daily and weekly rates with the submission of proof of military service.

4. What are your times for check-in and check-out?

Check-in is after 1:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. A $10 late fee will be assessed if checking out after 11:15 AM. If check-out time is after 1:00 PM, a full-day site fee is due unless prior approval is received from the Office.

5. What forms of payment do you accept?

Payment is by credit or debit card only. Checks and/or cash are not accepted. Site fees are payable up front when the reservation is booked.

6. Do you offer RVs or cottages for rent?

Yes — there are RVs as well as cottages available for rent. There are currently 5 cottages for rental with 4 more under construction. Both RVs and cottages must be booked by calling the Lake Dewberry office; neither can be booked online yet. (Office contact details are at the bottom of this page.)

7. Do you allow tent camping?

No, tent camping is not permitted.

8. What service do you offer for your electrical hookups?

Electrical hookups at each site are 20/30/50 amp.

9. Is there a difference in sites with regard to amenities, shade trees, fire pits, etc.?

No, there are practically no differences between sites with regard to amenities, and all pads are essentially the same size. Because the resort is newly developed, the trees on the RV sites are recent plantings and currently too small to offer shade. However, all RV pads are angled perpendicular to the setting sun, so each RV itself will provide evening shade to the lawn side of the unit.

10. Do you accept pets? What about a dog park?

Yes, RV guests are welcome to bring their pets, but the maximum number of animals per site is three (3). There is a fenced dog park where animals can run unleashed. Please read our Pet Policies page if you plan to bring your pets.

11. Does Lake Dewberry RV Resort have controlled access to the property?

Yes, the entrance and exit from our property onto Tate Rd. are controlled by gated arms. Access is provided through remote-control openers (similar to a garage door opener). Guests must pay a $20 deposit for the remote, which is refundable when the remote is returned at check-out.

12. Is there a general store on site?

No, we currently do not have a store. Walmart and Sam's Club (3 min. by car), Discount Tire (3 min.), Lowe's (4 min.), Kohl's (4 min.), Dollar Tree (6 min.), and Ross's (7 min.) are all nearby.

13. Do you have bathrooms and showers?

Our resort offers 5 individual bathrooms, each with a sink, toilet, urinal and tiled shower. Two of these bathrooms are ADA compliant.

14. Do you offer Wi-Fi and is there a charge?

We offer free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the resort. You will be provided with the Wi-Fi password when you check in.

15. Am I permitted to choose my own site?

18. Does your resort have a swimming pool?

Not yet, but a pool is in our future plans.

19. Is fishing allowed in your lake? How about swimming in the lake?

The lake is stocked with bluegill and largemouth bass, so catch-and-release fishing is allowed. Swimming is not allowed in the fishing lake, but swimming is allowed in the swim area when it is open (seasonally). Please take note of Rules and Regulations regarding use of the swim area.

20. Are life guards on duty at the swim lake?

There are no life guards on duty to watch swimmers, so guests swim at their own risk. Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult. Non-swimmers and less proficient swimmers must wear a life jacket in the swim lake (life jackets not provided).

21. Are guests allowed to bring their own golf carts? Does the resort rent golf carts?

The game room in the Clubhouse is equipped with a shuffleboard table, a double hoop basketball game, and other games.

26. How many vehicles in addition to my RV are permitted on my site?

In most cases, each site only has space for one vehicle parked in front of or behind the RV. Parking is not allowed on the grass or in the streets. However, a second concrete pad is available for extra parking in Rows 10-16. Additional parking space is limited, so please contact the Office regarding any available spaces.
